A man accused of murder and attempted murder is found not guilty. After five hours of deliberation, the jury returned a not guilty verdict for Adolfo Villalobos. He was accused of killing Vicente De La Rosa and injuring his brother Lauro De La Rosa.
A Laredo man — the second of three defendants in a homicide dating back to 2018 — has been sentenced for murder, court documents state. On Friday, Hector Rivera Jr. was found guilty by a jury in the 111th District court and sentenced to 10 years for murder and five years to serve for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
